LG 25UM58-P comes with a 25-inch ultra-wide display. This is a compact 25-inch display aimed at those looking to get an ultra-wide standard with a smaller budget. In this review, we are providing brief details about the performance, display etc.
On the box, it gets a power cord, an HDMI cable, driver CDs and an easy setup guide. I like the overall design of the monitor. It is not impressive as the 34UM but it looks and feels well constructed and solid. The bezel around the edges is just over one centimeter. So wouldn’t get in the way, if you would have a multi-display setup and has a matte finish which I must prefer to my monitor's glossy coating. The stand is ok though nothing particularly special in terms of looks.
It’s possible to adjust the height to a fairly large range and doing so is incredibly easy and feels very smooth. It is also possible to adjust the viewing angle. And the base itself can rotate that means you can swivel the monitor without having to scrape it across your desk. Finally, it has the incredibly useful feature of being able to rotate a full 90 degrees. This is excellent for writing and coding giving you a huge amount of place to work with. The LG 25UM58-P comes with a perfectly built body meeting international standards and you can see all the content when it is being flipped. It’s just the right height which gives a great view on all your content without making you tilt your head back to see it. The dimensions of the monitor with stand are 60.96cm x 1.88cm x 38.3cm and weigh 3.9Kg.
The LG 25UM58-P is packed with a 25 inch LCD monitor. With sRGB over 99%. Having a color depth of 8bits, 16.7M. The Effective viewing area is 409.8 (H) x 230.4 (V). It is having a Pixel pitch of 0.2286mm x 0.2286mm. It is supplemented with a 2560 x 1080resolution.
It got the aspect ratio of 16:10. The brightness of the display is 250 cd/m2 (typical). The contrast ratio is 700:1. The contrast ratio is mega. The response time of the monitor is 5ms GTG. Displays around 16.7 million colors. Having a wide viewing angle of 178 / 178.
The LG 25UM58P Ultra-wide monitor comes with on Screen Control and color weakness mode. It requires a maximum power around 24 watts and the standby consumption is 0.5 watts. It requires a power supply of AC 100 ~ 240 V, 50-60Hz.
The colors of LG 25UM58-P 25 inch Ultra-wide Monitor on the display are remaining strong and vibrant from where ever you look at it. LG have managed to get anti-glare coating just right. And the colors still remain very vibrant but even sitting with a light source right behind me, I was able to work without much distraction. Due to the 21:9 ratio.
The gaming is mostly perfect and the FPS is great. 21:9 ration gives great cinematic experience with absolutely no black bars on the screen. The 16:9 content is still displayed in full resolution with black bars on either side. The speakers on the monitor are ok and playing games, watching YouTube videos were not too bad. The best thing is, it has the headphone jack at the back. It has a joystick at the bottom which helps in navigating through the settings. You can press the joystick to open the menu or swipe it left and right for navigation.
ü Perfect and strong design.
ü Full HD IPS display
ü sRGB Over 99%

The LG 25UM58-P is a high-quality 25 inch Ultra- wide monitor and I enjoyed using it. It is a great customizable high-quality monitor. This is a strong monitor, it has more than satisfactory pixel density and gives a great amount of experience in games and makes films great. But the, unfortunately, the display try to cram in everything that is much larger and this quite doesn’t work well. And there is no way you can turn into four screens when the vertical resolution is 1080p.
