The Kara K2 is available in an attractive red and black colour scheme. The build is all plastic and the back is removable. Once the back is removed users can access the battery, the dual SIMs, and the removable memory card. Both the slots take in regular size SIM cards and the memory card is of the microSD variety. On the front sits the alpha-numeric keypad, the four-way navigation key, the OK button and two action buttons. On the top of these sits the 1.8 inch LCD display and above that is the red-coloured earpiece which makes it stand out on the mostly black face.

It is priced at less than Rs. 1,000/- in online as well as offline stores. At this price, it is a very attractive proposition for someone who wants a secondary phone exclusively for calling purposes.
