Xolo comes with a budget android smart phone running on lollipop and available at only Rs 5K/- Lets get into the detailed review of this dual sim smart phone.
XOLO Prime comes with an extremely glossy design. The back panel is very smooth and reflective. It is not made of glass yet it looks pretty glossy. So it gives a different look when compared to budget phones.
Front there is a camera on the top panel of the mobile. At the back there is a primary camera which is rounded. The charging slot and the 3.5mm head phone jack at the top which are side by side. There is branding at the front side of the device comes on the top. Coming to the back side there is the branding below the camera.
The stereo speakers are present at the rear bottom. To the right side you can see a volume button and the power button. At the back the panel is removable and under the flap you can see the long lasting 1800mAh battery, micro sd card slot and sim slots. It is available in black, Red and Blue colors. It is designed to have dimensions of 135 x 68 x 9.5 mm.

It has a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels with a pixel density of ~218ppi.No anti glare coating is provided. The screen to body ratio is 60.8%.

Coming to the display it has much bright color comparing to this class mobiles with 4.5 inch display. The color reproduction is very good but there is lot of reflection and there is no anti glare coating provided. The viewing angles are also pretty decent for this mobile. Many of them are having a qHD display but it is not provided with one.
The touch seems ok and responding fastly. The chipset is very good for day to day task although you might start multitasking with lot of apps it might have some issues. I will say that the performance looks pretty decent on this device. It is very good for a budget smart phone with normal and heavy usage. The gaming is ok and the display is very poor for graphic games like Asphalt 8 and dead trigger 2.
This is one of the issues we noticed while playing games and you can play normal games like subway surfers and Temple run smoothly. Overall performance is pretty decent and no lags and issues are identified but it is not preferable to use multitasking or apps which take lot of time to load or high end games.
The camera quality is pretty poor and the colors are totally washed out. Many mobiles at this class are provided with a very good 8MP camera like in focus and micro max canvas. The clarity of photos was not that great. It is noisy even in the day light shots and the 5MP camera overall disappoints. The battery performance is pretty decent.
At the price of 5.5K you can get a better mobile like Infocus. The XOLO Prime is a complete disaster while coming to the display and camera and multi tasking is also not preferable. Lets just go to another smart phone.
