Sony makes a great return to offer the update to Sony SRS-X55 entire Bluetooth speaker line. Although physically that mush hasn’t been changed. The Sony still offers the Bluetooth speaker that looks completely different from most of others from the market. If you are into that more streamlined and modern look without any those colors or that radical styling then the Sony Bluetooth speakers are the ones for you.
Sony hasn’t changed the size of the model when compared to the last years model. It still comes in a 8.8 inches wide, 4.8 inches tall and 2 inches thick. It does get slightly heavier weighing around 2.10 pounds versus 2.6 from last year. Because of its somewhat tall but narrow build, the way it does help a little bit and keeping this upright.
Now it takes some effort here to accidently knock it over. It is not prone to tipping constantly. Overall it’s still rock solid build here again with the entire front made up of aluminum and also back as well and as with last year the top is very fingerprint prone. But I think it looks gorgeous in my opinion it’s a mirror like finish that is slightly sensitive to fine scratches so just be aware of that but regarding the ones they still glow in that classy ambient LEED white.
The very simple aisle offers the on/off button, the speaker phone button, volume up and down, audio in for the physically connect the speaker to the device like a phone or tablet, and the other is a Bluetooth pairing button.
