MOTO M comes with a revolutionary design comparing to the previous Motorola devices. This is one of the budget smartphones. This is the first Motorola device that is coming with Dolby Atoms sound. It is a very premium looking device. Let’s get on to the Latest Moto M review.
MOTO M comes with a premium design and looks absolutely slim. Comes with Water repellent nano-coating which is water resistant and don’t mistake this for waterproof. In terms of looks, it is a lot better than the earlier moto devices. It comes with a type C USB port. It has the thin aluminium metallic finish body just like many other devices.
On the top, we have a 3.5mm audio jack and a secondary noise cancellation mic. It got the chamfered edges. It got the power on off button and the volume keys on the right side. It is all metal chassis. The back panel is very smooth and the stereo speakers are present at the bottom of the device. And in between the speakers comes the USB type C charging slot. And on the left side, it has the sim tray.
At the back, we have the fingerprint scanner and I'm glad that it has moved to the back. And the camera again is a 16 MP shooter. The secondary camera on the front of the upper panel. The three capacitive touch buttons are placed on the display. It has dimensions of 151.35x75.35x7.85 mm and weighs around 163grams. The device is available in Gold, Gray, Silver colors.

It consists off fingerprint Sensor Vibration e-Compass Accelerometer Ambient Light Gyroscope Proximity. Consists of USB OTG support. The device is a dual sim smartphone with 4G connectivity. Supports OTG. Supplemented with Dolby Atmos® audio enhancement.
Comparing to the other Motorola devices this quite a different phone as it concentrated more on the styling rather than the functionality of this device. The fingerprint sensor is also good and Motorola has done a good job. It is a 1080p IPs screen and the screen quality on this device is very good. It also has this auto brightness sensor.
The good thing is that if you take the phone directly to the outdoors the screen is easily visible. It comes with hybrid sim slot. The cellular call quality is fine and there are no issues. You get the same stock experience with the UI and is regular in previous Moto devices. Yes, Dolby sound is better. Many are saying that it is an AMOLED screen but actually it is an IPS screen. If you take a 32GB version you get almost around 28 GB free space.
The best thing is they have preinstalled Microsoft office. There is no lot of bloatware and there are not even Motorola specifics apps also. The proximity sensor was not apt as when I take the call, the screen is not shutting down. The Dolby Atoms sound is the best feature you get on this smartphone. And it quite better when you connected to the headset. The battery life is slightly above average. For a typical working day,
it is lasting for a day. I sort of have the mixed results with the gaming. It can run many games but with the high-end games, it has some legs. And this is not a perfect phone for gaming. The ANTUTU benchmark score is 54823 and the Geek benchmark score is 910 on a single core and 3503 on multi-core.
Talking about the camera, it got a good shutter speed. In outdoor lighting conditions, the camera seemed to perform well. The camera takes some good shots.
When you move to the indoor and outdoor conditions the camera really struggles. It is not a perfect camera like you find in the previous devices. Overall it is a mediocre camera. But the front camera is strangely better compared to the previous devices.
Overall at the price of the Rs 16000, I had very mixed results with this device and it is sort of overpriced what Motorola is providing. Moto M is the best smartphone available at price of Rs 16K/-
