The Moto took almost a year to redesign the flaws of the 1st generation smartwatches and finally launched the Moto second Generation to overcome them. The second generation comes with a few improvements like the heart rate sensor. Getting into the detailed review of this Moto AP3628AB6K8 2 generation Leather smartwatch.
The design is almost same as the previous Moto 1st generation. It comes with a flat tire display with an ambient light sensor but the rest you get a lot of new features and specs to play on. So it is available in two different sizes 42mm and the 46mm. The 46mm is ideal for men. It looks quite big and large for a lot of people out there.
The leather strap is perfect and is easy to remove. There is a button at the 2 o'clock position with the Moto Logo. Overall the thing I like the most about the Moto 360 2nd generation is that it really isn’t all that shy about its appearance.
The entire watch looks very industrial and model has done a good job for basically knowing the fact that well when you buy a Moto 360 in 46mm it is going to be a large device no matter what way you put it.
The Moto AP3628AB6K8 2nd Gen bears a 1.56” (40mm) display protected by the corning Gorilla Glass 3. This is an IPS Backlit LCD screen. The pixel density of the device is 233ppi. It comes with a resolution of 360 x 330 pixels.
The Moto AP3628AB6K8 2nd Gen smart watch is a dust and water, resistant IP67 model. The smartwatch runs on Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 400 with 1.2 GHz speed along with the quad-core processor and Adreno 305 with 450MHz GPU. It is provided with a Blue tooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
It is provided with Accelerometer, Ambient Light Sensor, Gyroscope, Vibration/Haptics engine. Provided with a 400mAh battery. The wireless charging dock is provided. It is supplemented with a 4GB internal memory with 512MB RAM. The dual digital microphone is available.
Getting into the display, there is a flat tire on the bottom and there are a lot of people out there who dislike the flat tire but I happen to think that it is actually a defining trait of the Moto Smartwatch. After all the Moto tried to explain it by saying that the flat tire on the bottom is for an ambient sensor which is true. And it allows having a smaller bezel entire the screen.
The total resolution of 360 x 360 pixels is available in the LCD construction. Now this screen particularly look nice in pretty much every situation and the ambient light sensor makes it pretty easy for it to dim down in darker situation that said even at lower settings it can be enough to annoy people who are right next to you so you have to provide some input on turning on to the theater mode or turning off the screen in general.
The performance of the watch is amazing with the snapdragon 400 along with the 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. But it had problems registering the OK Google sound, we have to say it a few extra times just too finally get the watch to recognize and start taking our general voice command. It has the heart rate sensor which performs usually well as it should. When it comes to fitness you have Moto body application which has to also be installed on your smartphone and it will be able to track your calorie burned via the steps that you have taken.
Usually, these numbers are pretty arbitrary but at least it gives you a small snapshot into just how much you are actually moving throughout the day and despite the IP 67 rating because of the leather band. There is also a microphone available at the bottom left for the most part. The best thing about this watch is its charging dock which is easy to plug.
Overall the Moto AP3628AB6K8 second Generation smartwatch gives the best. And the charging remains for a day and a half on the full charge and you are pretty much charging it every night with easy dock. The Price of the Motorola Moto 360 2nd Gen (46 mm) for Men is just around 21,000/- Only
