XIAOMI REDMI 4A is a low budget smartphone with 4G connectivity and complimented with many amazing features. This is one of the budget smartphones. It is a very premium looking device. Let’s get on to the Latest Xiaomi Redmi 4A review.
Xiaomi Redmi 4Acomes with a premium design. And it still has the metallic body. Along with the phone, we will get a basic charger which is a 5V 1A charger. It is not a fast charger but again considering the price point it is ok. The handset feels very light to start off with. The battery is sealed inside. It has a LED flash and 13MP rear-facing camera and on the top, we have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and this one still retains the IR blaster which is amazing because many of the devices are very expensive devices and these days don’t come with IR blaster and secondary noise cancellation mic.
The volume rocker and the power button, they are made of plastic. The main mic is at the bottom and there is also a micro USB at the side you will the sim tray at the left side which s hybrid sim card slot. You can add two sim cards or one sim card and a micro SD card. It would be better if it had a dedicated SD card slot. The three capacitive touch buttons are placed on the bottom panel. It has dimensions of 139.9 x 70.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 131.5 grams. The device is available in Gold, Gray, rose gold colors.
Xiaomi Redmi 4ais 5” HD high-quality display made of IPS panels with the multi-touch capacitive display. Consisting of resolution 1280 x 720 pixels. Has a pixel density of 296 PPI. Having a contrast ratio of 1000:1 contrast ratio with a color gamut of 72% NTSC. It has great wide viewing angles. The display has great colors looking vibrant. With great color balance and accurate brightness. Protected with corning gorilla glass 3. Available reading mode and color temperature adjustment.
XIAOMI REDMI 4A runs on MIUI 8.1. It is powered by Snapdragon 425 quad-core 1.4GHz max and Adreno308 500MHz GPU. Provided with a RAM of 2GB with 16GB internal storage with a memory card support up to 128GB. Having primary camera of 13MP f/2.2 aperture, 5-element lens. Supplemented with a single LED flash and low light enhancement, HDR, Panorama, Burst mode, face recognition and real-time filters. Out of the 16GB internal storage, you get 8.37 GB free storage space. The navigation buttons on the bottom are not backlit so that is one thing you have to note. It is a budget oriented 4G smartphone you get Xiaomi. It is also provided with a compass app. This phone is not going to replace Redmi 4S as it doesn’t have any fingerprint sensor. Comparing to the other Xiaomi devices this quite a different phone as it concentrated more on the styling rather than the functionality of this device. The good thing is that if you take the phone directly to the outdoors the screen is easily visible. It comes with hybrid simslot.
Talking about the gaming, the screen quality is decent for gaming. It is running games like Dead Trigger 2 without any issues. The graphic quality is also ok. I also tried playing heavier games like Asphalt 8 and I played the game at highest graphic settings, I noticed there are many frame drops and when I played at medium graphic settings it is fine.
Looking at the camera, it has a 13MP rear-facing camera. You have tap to focus. And the front camera is 5MP. We can’t expect any miracles with camera considering the price point. But however, it is decent enough in my opinion. Again I have to test the camera a lot more.
Overall at the price of Xiaomi Redmi 4a mobile in India Rs 6,000, what you get is incredible and I'm sure that you can buy this smartphone.
Hi, in this review we are going to have a detailed overview about the Redmi Note 4. The phone feels sleeker than the Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi is going to sell three different variants in India. The first base variant will have 2GB RAM and convert 32GB of internal storage and there is also one more model that comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage and the other one is 4GB of RAM that will have 64GB storage.
In terms of design, the device feels similar to the Redmi Note 3. The built quality has certainly improved now. This one is powered by snapdragon 625 chipset and that’s the main difference I would say. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back and an IR blaster on the top. You also get a 3.5mm audio jack at the top and a secondary noise cancellation mic.
The built quality has improved the volume rocker and the power on/off button. On the bottom, it has one speaker. The device again comes with a hybrid sim slot on the left. Moving to the rear facing camera they have a 13Mp camera and the Xiaomi said that they have put a new sensor in the Indian Version. And the front-facing camera is a 5MP. The dimensions of the smartphone are 151mm x 76mm x 8.54mm. The weight of the mobile is 165grams.
Redmi Note 4 comes with a 5.5-inch display IPS LCD display giving around 16M colors. It comes with a 2.5D glass which is easier to work which Redmi Note 3 doesn’t have.
It is packed with full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is a multi-touch capacitive screen. It has a brightness of 380 cd/m². Having a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Viewing angles are decent. Has 72% NTSC color gamut. Has night display mode and reading mode.
Redmi Note 4 is running on an octa-core 2.0 GHz processor with snapdragon 625 chipset. It is running on the Android Marshmallow v6.0. Moving to the battery this one is having a 4100mAh Li-Ion Non-removable battery. It comes with fingerprint sensors with 5 fingerprint memory. It has dual sim device with GSM and HSPA support. You can see the viewing angles are good.
The battery performance is awesome as it is combined with a 625 snapdragon chipset with the 4100mAh battery. You will get around 10 to 12 hrs. on screen time on a single day. So the battery life is amazing on this. So you don’t have to worry about the battery life but again regarding the charging.
The Xiaomi has improved the camera performance on this new Redmi Note 4. It got the single speaker just like the Note 3 where the same problem repeated as the sound output is not good. Here you are getting the type C USB port and that’s what we are getting. Moving to the other things it is similar to the Redmi Note 3. The fingerprint scanner is good on this one.
Looking at the camera performance, they have really improved the camera. It has tap to focus and you can take snaps very easily and on this Redmi Note 4, the images do not over expose and the Redmi Note 3 always had that problem. The Redmi Note 4 is really an improved version of the Redmi note 3 cameras. And the difference makes sense.
But I doubt that it can compete with the Moto G4 plus because this one does not have laser autofocus system and with very close objects I notice that it having difficulty in focusing but nevertheless the camera looks to be better than the Redmi Note 3.
Finally talking about the worth of the device this is certainly a good smartphone and it has this improved camera but with the competitive market, it lags a bit. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 three variants are available in three prices. The 2GB variant is around 10K and the 3 GB is around 11K and the 4GB is around 13K.

The Geek benchmark score on the device is 653 on the single core and 2730 on the multi core.
The base mark X score is 14374. Coming to the gaming zone I played Unkilled. It is handling the game quite well I say. There is no lag over there. The graphics are fine. I also played mortal combat game without any issues. The overall gaming experience is good. The sound from the earphones seem good. Fast battery charger comes within the box which is again a good news. The battery provides enough charge for a day on normal usage and on the heavy usage ¾ day.
The rear camera is a 13MP shooter and the front-facing camera is supposed to be a 5Mp shooter. The outdoor shots from the rear camera came out to be very good detail. And the pictures are also not oversaturated.
You can also get some decent depth of feel. For the indoor shots, you have to be careful. Otherwise, it comes out to be blurry. But the device does a far better job when compared to other budget-oriented smartphones.
This is one kind of budget smartphone bearing all the premium features like fingerprint sensor, octa core processor 13MP camera. The performance is good but not the best you will get.
