Here is a quick review of the budget oriented Micromax TV and see this is a 40 inch Full HD LED TV. The TV comes with 40 inch Full HD Zero dots LED panel combined with SRS surround audio. The TV looks fabulous and let’s get started.
Micromax 40C7550FHD is a completely black colored TV with the matte finish at the back and is wall mountable kind. The body construction is entirely made up of plastic which is hardened. On the box, it gets a remote and a wall mountable setup. The TV comes with a fully functional remote control which doesn’t feel that high quality but gets the job done.
It has all the controls which it technically needs. The remote runs on 2AAA batteries. The TV bears thin bezels giving a bezel less feel. The branding comes on the bottom panel. There is a LED backlit below the branding. At the back comes the branding of the Micromax and the model number. The buttons come to the backside which is difficult to reach and I didn’t like the placement as I can’t see what is for what exactly.
Even the power button is lined up in the control buttons which is a disadvantage. Coming to the connectivities, it bears a 3.5 Audio jack, 2-USB ports, PC- Audio input and AV output, and to the back side it has 1-AV-In, 2- HDMI pins, 1-Component In, 1-VGA connector.
The two speakers are at the bottom placed on the either edges. With the provided VGA connector you can easily connect to the CPU. And you also connect the TV with an Xbox. It has 2 USB ports where you can connect your flash drives.
The Micromax TV comes with a 40 inch LED display, it is a full HD LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080pixels with zero dot technology. Has a brightness of 270 units and a default aspect ratio of 16:09.
The Micromax 40C7550FHD comes with a 40 inch full HD LED display. It has 10watts x 2 audio speakers with 5 band equalizer. Coming to the connectivities it bears 2 HDMI, 2 USB, 1 headphone, 1 Av in, 1 Component in, 1 VGA connector, PC audio Input, 1 AV output. Power requirements are AC 100V-240V 50/60Hz and consuming around 1W.
The quality of the display is good and the brightness levels are good. The screen is really clear and there are no white dots. You do have control on the models and backlit. The wide viewing angles are amazing. It is a perfect 178 degrees wide angle display and you can see clearly at any angle. I played some videos on the default settings which is perfect.
The color balance is great. It has a pretty simple OSD which is quite responsive. Getting on to the menu options it has picture modes such as brightness, contrast and backlit, which can be adjusted manually. Initially, I tried connecting an external hard disk which sadly doesn’t support and the Pen drive is working fine.
I played some full HD videos all they played perfectly. The TV does a great job playing the HD videos. It can play 1080p videos with ease. It supports video formats like MP4, AVI, and MKV. The display quality is quite impressive with amazing details
Coming to the audio quality, the TV has two 10W surround speakers. The SRS sound is good and is sufficient for a large room. All the music stuff is getting played perfectly. The audio is also amazing.
I’m really impressed by the actual performance. The two major things about a television are the picture quality and the sound. It satisfied both the terms. Even the sound quality is surprisingly loud. The thing I don’t really like about this TV is remote and it is very plasticky and cheap. The TV is available at a price of 25000/- @ Amazon. Finally, it is a worthful product.
