Meizu M3s is a recent release from Meizu M3s with exciting new features and 4G connectivity. The device comes with bigger battery, better processor, and a wonderful camera. It is looking fabulous with the unibody metal design. Let’s see how this smartphone is gonna perform.
Meizu M3s is very good to hold. Metal body. In terms of looks and design, it is really simple. On the front, we have a 5 inch HD display with 294ppi. It is protected with a 2.5D curved glass. It has black on the front and because of that the bezels are completely hidden and thereby giving much premium look.
There are no physical navigation buttons. Below the display we have the multifunctional button which acts like a fingerprint scanner, though. When you click it acts like a home button. It comes with an HD display. It is a pretty good display. It is looking good with rounded edges. The power button and the volume buttons are made up of metal and had a good tactile feedback.
It has a nano sim slot which is a hybrid sim slot. So we can insert two nano Sims or a nano sim and an SD card. Front, there is a camera on the top panel of the mobile. At the back, there is a primary camera. The charging slot is at the bottom and the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. There is no branding at the front side of the device.
The back the panel is non-removable kind and the 3020mAh battery is sealed inside. At the bottom comes the two speaker vents. The device comes in 141.9 x 69.9 x 8.3 mm dimensions and weight is 138grams. It is available in Gold, silver and gray colors.
Meizu M3s comes with a 5-inch display IPS LCD display giving around 16M colors. It comes with a 2.5D glass. It is packed with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution.
It has a pixel density of 296ppi. It is a multi-touch capacitive screen. It has a brightness of 380 cd/m². Having a contrast ratio of 1000:1. Viewing angles are decent.
Meizu M3s is running on an octa-core processor (ARM® Cortex®-A53™ 1.5GHz x4 + ARM® Cortex®-A53™ 1.0GHz x4) with MTK MT6750 chipset and ARM Mali T860 graphics processor. It is running on the Flyme OS on top of Android Lollipop. It has an internal memory of 16/32GB and RAM of 2/3GB LPDDR3. The expandable memory provided up to 128GB.
Having primary camera of 13MP with LED flash capturing at a resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels with geo-tagging, autofocus, touch focus, face, and panorama and smile detection. Stereo speakers are given. Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS options are available. The primary camera records video at 720p@30fps.
5MP Secondary camera is provided. Gravity sensor, IR proximity sensor, Gyroscope, Ambient light sensor, Digital compass sensors are present. It has a 3020mAh battery. It comes with fingerprint sensors with 5 fingerprint memory. It has dual sim device with GSM and HSPA support.
Meizu M3s is like a smaller copy of the Meizu M3 note. It is also a capacitive back button. If you want to go to the recent tabs button you just have to swipe up. It just gives you a much more immersive feeling. So to unlock the device you have to first click any button then you have to use the fingerprint scanner to unlock it.
It features gestures for making the life easier I personally present the home button was little hard to press besides that everything is really super. The fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate and can unlock the phone no matter how you place the finger. It has 360 degrees recognition. The entire phone is powered by a 3020mAh battery. The call quality is fine. The web browser is pretty responsive. It really got a pretty good battery life.
There are two variants of the phone one is 3 GB RAM and 2GB RAM. It got 32GB internal storage. The benchmark score of the device is 35347 on AnTuTu. The geek benchmark score is 624 on a single core and 2148 on multi-core. And the quadrant score is 18989.
In terms of performance, it is evenly matched with many other phones in the same price segment. The gaming experience on the phone is pretty good too. It doesn’t get any hot while playing games or videos.
Low light images look a little bit dull but in well-lit conditions, it takes good pictures. Color reproduction is not really good. It has slightly wide angle cameras when compared to Redmi 3s prime. The details are ok. Outdoor photos are good capturing natural colors. The front camera is very good for capturing awesome selfies.
Meizu M3s is a perfect phone with awesome UI and even the benchmarks scores are perfect in this price segment. It got the best display. The design looks very premium while comparing to this range phones. It is available at a price range of Rs 8,799/-@ snap deal which is quite affordable.
