LYF Water F1 is a premium looking budget smartphone with exciting new features. It is one of the phones from LYF with 4G connectivity and coupled with the Jio. It is designed to look decent and simple. Let’s see how this smartphone is gonna perform in this well-versed tech review.
The design of LYF Water F1 looks very interesting with the round body. It has thin bezels on the sides and large bezels on the top and bottom. It comes with standard earphones. Looking at the device we have a front camera on the top panel of the mobile. It comes with on-screen navigation buttons. On the rear side, we have a tiny speaker at the bottom.
We also have a 3200mAh capacity battery under the hood which is sealed inside so you can’t really open it up. We have a texturized back panel which is a nice thing which won’t slip out of your hand. So that’s a good thing. At the back, there is a 16MP primary camera with LED flash. And there is also a secondary noise cancellation mic.
The charging slot at the bottom and the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. There is no branding at the front side of the device. On the right side of the device, we have the power button and volume rockers. On the left comes the sim card tray. The weight of the device is 153grams and comprising of dimensions 155.5mmx77.6mmx7.9 mm.
LYF Water F1 comes with a 5.5-inch display IPS LCD display giving around 16M colors. It is packed with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It has a pixel density of 400ppi.

LYF Water F1 is running on Android Marshmallow. It has quite simple UI and it comes with a lot of Jio applications. Some of them were really good and if you don’t really like it. You can always uninstall them. It got around 24GB internal storage left to the user and 1.7 GB is free RAM space.
There is a rich communication feature which is available to all the Jio users. All you need to do is download the application from the smartphone. This feature is really nice and useful. The call quality of the device is very good. I have not faced any lag on this phone. The graphic quality is very good. It also handles some games like Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger.
The web browser is pretty responsive with the 4G connectivity. It comes with AnTuTu benchmark scoring of 46506 which is good. The Geekbench score is 703 on a single core and 2037 on the multi-core. The camera performance is also satisfactory. And the images taken have good details and the auto focus is perfect.
LYF Water F1 is a good device performing faster with the Jio applications and 4G LTE service. The design looks premium while comparing to range phones. It is available at a price range of Rs 10,075/-@ Flipkart and snapdeal which is kind of affordable.
