The Intex Aqua Lions 4G mobile is a well-built beautiful looking device. It is available in two colours; Grey and Champagne. The phone features a wraparound plastic back which is removable for accessing the battery, dual SIMs and the memory card slot. The device front is black on both the colours. At the top on the backside sits the 5 megapixels camera below which sits the LED flash.
The loudspeaker grill is situated at the bottom on the back side. The corners are rounded and the back sports a matte finish on the front, the three Android navigation keys are situated below the 5.0 inch display. The front camera and the sensors are lined up with the earpiece. The phone’s rounded corners and the matte finish help in maintaining a secure grip on the phone.
The Aqua Lions sports a 5.0 inch TFT LCD display with 2-finger touch support. The resolution is a lowly 480 x 854 pixels. The viewing angles are good with well-saturated colours. Users will struggle to view the display in direct sunlight though. The low resolution on a big 5.0 inch display along with the 2-finger touch support might be a deal-breaker for some people.
The primary camera on the Intex Aqua Lions 4G mobile is a 5.0 megapixels fixed focus camera. This limits the use of camera and users might miss out on photo moments which require a camera to be able to focus fast in order to capture the moment.
There is also an LED flash for low light and night photography. The front camera is also a fixed focus 2.0 megapixels camera. It should be able to capture some good photos with a reasonable amount of detail.
The Intex Aqua Lions 4G mobile is powered by a quad-core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor running at 1.3 GHz. It features 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage.
