Here we are discussing the latest additions to the desire line up HTC desire 530, which is a budget android smartphone running on the marshmallow version and running on the Qualcomm MSM8909 Snapdragon 210 chipset.
It is a midrange budget smartphone with a body enclosed in a polycarbonate or plastic shell and has the same designs of the previous desire phones, which has the slightly rounded corners on the side and the dual front facing speaker grills on the top and bottom of the display.
HTC is also making this new desire phones a little bit more unique than the others with a bunch of paint speckles on the back what HTC likes to call it as a micro splash and the cool thing is that this isn’t some sort of preset pattern so each and every desire will look different from one to the next. You can also customize these phones further with colorful fall proof loops and snap on cases that have the same micro splash effect added to them.
This is not the thinnest phone you regularly see, it is slightly on the fatter side which looks solid and very easy to hold down. The dimensions of the device are 146.9 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm. The weight of the device is 140grams.
HTC Desire 530 comes with a 5 inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen. Which is a multi-capacitive touch screen? It consists of resolution 720 x 1280 pixels. It has a pixel density of ~294ppi. Displaying around 16m colors.
The screen to body ratio of the device is 66.2%. There is a 5-inch 720p display in the front and a snapdragon. The display is good in terms of viewing angles. The color reproduction is good and decently bright.

This is an entry level smartphone with compact size display. The software here is the 6.0 marshmallow with the standard HTC sense UI on the top and it ill is a pretty familiar experience for anyone who has used an HTC device within the recent history.
All the features that you would expect from sense are here like the vertical scrolling app drawer, blink feed, witches and the overall clean experience a sense typically brings to the table. The price range is however extremely affordable.
If you want a bit more than this device you can opt for the Desire 630 which is mostly same which comes with a slightly more powerful chipset. Out of 16GB around 7 GB has been used as it comes preinstalled with bloatware. Multitasking is quite good. The smartphone has a smooth interface. The smartphone comes with a 2200mAh battery and supports extreme power saving mode which extended the battery life.
It comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5Mp front camera, it comes with minimal modes like selfie camera and panorama mode. The back camera can also record HD video. Which supports full HD video recording.
The front camera worked decently. If you move according to the back camera it is again the best we have seen in low budget smartphones. The 5Mp camera worked decently.
So overall the HTC desire appears to be a decent level smartphone. It has a decent 5-inch display. The processor needs to be decent enough. The good thing is you get a v6.0 marshmallow and the camera on the smartphone tries to impress us. This device is available at a price of Just Rs 9000/- Which is typically affordable.
