Built quality is one area where HTC has always scored big and nothing changes with the desire. The metal chassis offers rigidity and rubberized back on the black variant makes easy to grip. HTC Desire 10 Pro sense didn’t felt very impressive. And google apps are used wherever possible to avoid duplication of apps. The display boasts up good brightness and contrast and full HD resolution ensures there is no pixelation around icons and text. Media playback is handled well but we wish the phone was fitted with stereo speakers rather than just the one. Due to this HTC’s Boomsound audio announcements only work with the wired headphones rather than the speaker.
The bundle's headset does a very good job with audio playback. The battery life is fairly good too and we are able to go nearly a full day on a single charge. Fast charging is also supported with a bundled adapter. The Desire 10 Pro makes a good package but its price is a bit on the higher side especially when you consider its performance and lack of conveniences.
The main camera manages detailed landscapes in daylight with fairly good sharpness and colors. Close-up shots and other shots are also good. Although the camera tends to struggle to get the focus right at times. Low light shots are not too bad, although focusing tweets a bit down. The front camera manages to get sharp selfies in daylight. And in low light, the retina flash pushes a bit. Amazingly it got selfie panorama. The camera app is well designed offering lots of shooting modes like pro modes.
ü Striking looks and amazing built quality
ü Display is sharp and vivid
ü Nice camera
û A bit expensive
û Gets scratches on the rear easily
Unless you get the discount you would be better off with other phones like Moto Z play or even One Plus 3T. HTC Desire 10 Pro is the best smartphone available at price of Rs 24K/-
