Gionee launches a latest near high-end smartphone running on Android Marshmallow Version packed with the octa-core processor and a 3GB RAM. It got the specs of a mid-range phone. Let's get into the detailed review of this stylish smartphone.
Gionee S6s comes with a 5.5 inch 2.5D curved display. Talking about the built quality it comes with a complete metal body which makes the device quite heavier and the device feels quite solid and sturdy in hand. At the back, you get a 13MP shooter and a flash and a fingerprint sensor. At the front, you get an 8MP camera with a flash.
Below the display you have the physical touch buttons. The back has a slight curve. It is easier to hold and gives you a better grip. You get this IPS display which looks nice. The volume rockers and the power button located on the right side and these keys are very thin and metal.
The power slot and the 3.5mm headphone jack are occupied at the bottom of the display making it very easy to connect. The branding comes to the back side. The stereo speakers are located on the lower back side.
The three capacitive buttons come on the display but not on the lower panel which gives a very good space to hold the device. Available in Mocha Gold, Latte Gold colors. The dimensions of the device are 154.5 x 75.6 x 8.3 mm. The weight of the device is 166 grams.

The display looks perfect and didn’t face any problems regarding touch and it is very fluid. Coming to the hardware it is powered by a MediaTek chipset which is very powerful when combined with an octa-core processor. The Antutu benchmark score is 37751 which is decent. Coming to the gaming you cannot play games in high resolution but you can play.
The phone comes with Amigo UI so it does give a lot of customization options and at the same time you get a lot of preinstalled apps combined with some games and some popular apps like true caller and Facebook messenger which is useful.
The device looks like a thing of beauty. For the connectivity, the dual sim phone supports Wi-Fi, blue tooth, and GPS. The camera is ok for taking good images in different light conditions. The front camera I also performing well.
At the price of 17K, this is not the best one among many but it does a very decent job. It is a 5.5 inch large display device bearing a stylish outlook with a metal body. Let’s just get this smartphone without much thought.
