Gionee Pioneer P6 is very good in overall look and feel. The back panel has the glossy finish with very nice texture. It looks like a very premium phone at a very affordable price. The build quality of the device is good enough. The plastic is decent quality.
The back has a really nice finish with Gionee Logo. There is steel chrome running around the device. Front there is a camera with LED flash on the top panel of the mobile. At the back, there is a primary camera with LED flash. The charging slot at the bottom and the 3.5mm headphone jack at the top. There is no branding at the front side of the device.
The Loudspeakers are present at the bottom. The volume button and the power button comes on the right side of the tab. At the back the panel is removable and under the hood, there is a removable battery, micro SD card slot, and sim slots.
Available in black and white colors. 142.8 x 74.3 x 8.6 mm and weight is 150grams. Although the back panel attracts lots of fingerprints and scratches it is looking attractive.

The 5-inch display is good and the display clarity is discolored when seen from steep angles. The display quality s good enough it the price range. You can nearly get one-day battery backup with heavy usage. The UI is pretty laggy so you have to install Google launcher. The keypad gives a very good typing experience and there is no issue typing on this device.
It came with many preinstalled third-party apps like danger dash, Facebook and so on. Out of 8 GB internal storage, you can get 3.68GB free. In 1GB RAM you can get 484Mb free which is running fast. You cannot install apps on SD card which is a major issue. It is also featured with hot knot where you can transfer data with one touch. Coming to the camera performance the pictures captured are very good and the details are ok but I would expect a little more. Pictures taken in low light are ok but the color seems to be dark.
The front camera can take decent photos but again the pics are not so bright. On Antutu we got a score of 19238 which is good enough. Graphics are good average with the given resolution while playing games like blood and glory but the details are not too good. Some of the HD games like Mortal combat will not run on the device.
Gionee Pioneer P6 is the best smartphone with all the basic midrange features. It gives the best performance with its quad-core processor. The display is good but with low resolution and the UI is a bit laggy. It is available at a price range of Rs 8000/-
