The back cover seems slightly more polished this time. It comes with separate sim slots for sim and SD card. No hybrid slot.
The phone actually feels good to hold in hand and it is curvier at the edges making it look thinner than actually, it is. To the left comes the volume rockers which are very responsive and to the right, there is a power button. The fingerprint sensor is located below the camera which can be easily reached. At the bottom you have the micro USB syncing and charging port.
At the top, it has the 3.5mm audio jack. The front camera is placed above the display. The rear camera is on the back side with LED flash placed beside it. The three capacitive touch buttons on the bottom display which don’t lit up. It has dimensions of 15.2 x 0.9 x 7.7 cm.

This is an upgrade for Coolpad Note 3, where you will get a 1080p panel instead of a 720p panel. You will get a screen on the box which is always good to see. The touch feels very responsive and smooth. The UI is very normal and usual there is nothing much customization was done.
The fingerprint sensor is very good recognizes very fast. You can use it to open apps capture images and as well as security. It works every single time. App lock support baked in as well. It has a very familiar layout with the notifications. Out of 16GB storage, you will get around 10.3GB. The overall performance of the device is said to be good. The disappointing thing in the phone is, it is still running on the Android v5.1 Lollipop. The UI is nice and has customization options.
You can tap it to wake. Themes work here as well. You can go through the apps and open without any hiccups. You can play all mid games very well and coming to the high-end games it doesn’t run as smooth as expected. Gaming performance is amazing on this device. I played many high-end games which ran very smoothly. The battery gives very good backup.
Coming to the rear camera, it has the same unit that we found on the cool pad Note 3. So yes it does take images quickly and focusing pretty decent as well.
You have some manual controls over here. You can also control some white balance and exposure. All these settings do work actually quite well. The front camera also did a pretty decent job.
This is one of the best mid-range mobiles. Coolpad Note 3 Plus is available at a price tag of Rs 8999/-Amazon. The performance, camera everything is very good. Especially the design looks premium with the curved edges.
