DESIGN AND BUILD:
Similar to the entry-level laptops, the Aspire ES1-531 comes with a casing made out of hardened plastic. It comes with a black colored texture that is smooth and non-reflective. It has robust built quality and looks perfect. This is a fully features laptop. The lid and the hinges are smooth to an extent but could be better. Even so, looking at the price of the Aspire ES1-531, the build quality seems appropriately good. While the laptop does come with one slot of removable RAM, replacing or upgrading it requires a lot of studies. There is also a DVD burner as well. The Acer Logo catches the eye as it is nicely placed on the top. And it has a lot of fireworks to attract customers. In terms of connectivity, the lappy comes with 2 x USB 2.0 ports, one USB 3.0 port, SD Card Reader, an Ethernet port, an HDMI port, combo audio port.
Overall this is a rigid style of design. It is provided with a large footprint to handle a full sized keyboard which includes numberpad. The keys are quite reflective and the surface of the keys are slightly roughened for better performance. The keyboard is quite responsive and stable and convenient for workers. The touchpad provided comes with integrated left and right click. The overall laptop is quite impressive in terms of build quality. Having dimensions of 26.1mm x 381.6mm x 258mm.
The Acer ES1-531 Laptop is rounded with a 15.6-inch display which is of LCD type. The 15.6 inches screen is embedded with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Comparing the display with the previous laptops you will find that this display is quite brighter and colors are degraded. The blacks appear darker. The brightness of the laptop is 228 CD/m2. The display bears matte finish which reduces irritating reflections of the screen. Lacking accurate color reproduction, the display is not so perfect for image editing purposes. The sRGB color spectrum is just around 60%.
Coming to the configuration, the Acer ES1-531laptop is powered by an Intel® Celeron® 1.60 GHz N3050 dual-core Processor. It is supplemented with an HD Graphics (DDR3L SDRAM).The laptop got a RAM of 2GB DDR3L SDRAM and 8GB internal storage The hard disk capacity is 500GB.The laptop runs on a 64-bit processor. Provided with dual speakers. It is available in Windows 10 OS. Provided connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth Ver. 4.0, HDMI, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 X USB 3.0 ports. Comes with 3,270mAh Li-Poly 3 cell battery. It is provided with a built-in microphone. And bears 2 speakers. Available input devices are touchpad and keyboard. It requires a maximum power supply of 45W.
Even the brightness of the Aspire ES1-531 Laptop display is increased par to the previous displays, the battery performance is nowhere effected. The touchpad is nice but the gesture modes are limited only to pinch in and zoom out. This is one of the best economical options you ever find. The CPU is powerful enough to handle multi-tasking without hiccups. With the 4GB RAM, you can easily get your daily tasks done. The 1tb hard disk capacity is more than enough. The video playback is wonderful but the gaming is on the poor side.
ü Matte surface finish with a fashionable pattern.
ü Latest OS of Windows 10.
ü A full-sized keyboard with crisp and clear shots.
ü Impressive battery life.
û The screen is outdated, with poor contrast and viewing angles.
The foremost matter to consider before looking at any of the flaws of the Acer Aspire ES1-531 is that it is a basic entry-level laptop. But gives a standard performance and bears a robust build quality. The battery life is decent. This Lappy wants to be more than merely a normal laptop. It is comfortable to buy at least Price in Acer models. So I hope it would be the greater workplace for you.
